Garie Beach
Quote:
"In the northern section the track runs along magnificent sandstone cliffs indented with sandy beaches and inlets. South of Garie you follow the rocky shoreline past attractive beaches before climbing the escarpment through Palm Jungle".
 [Cronin 2002, pp. 124.]

Note:
I did this walk in October 2009. At the time I had heard "you had to be either super fit or crazy to attempt the walk in one day". As there were no public transport points along the route I had to do  it in a day  to meet the criteria  of this site. I figured  I met at least one of the above mentioned requirements. I caught the first morning ferry to Bundeena  and staggered into Otford at dusk. I made it, it is stunningly beautiful, but I will not be attempting to do it in a day again!
