Walk Highlights:
Quaint harbour beaches at Watsons Bay and Camp Cove, stunning harbour views from Laings Point and South Head. The view over Sydney Harbour's entrance from South Head and spectacular clifftop ocean views at the Gap, Diamond Bay and Ben Buckler.
Route:
Started from Watsons Bay Ferry Wharf - north along the beach promenade - ramp up to Cove Street - left into Pacific Street out to Laings Point and Green Point Reserve. Down on to Camp Cove beach and up on to the South Head Heritage Trail - out to South Head around the loop and back to Cliff Street - climbed up into Sydney Harbour National Park and Gap Bluff. Followed the pathway around the Gap and into Gap Park and Signal Hill reserve - past Macquarie Lighthouse - Christison Park - Clarke Reserve - Diamond Bay - Eastern Reserve Dover Heights. Up Lancaster Road to Dudley Page Reserve - south along Military Road - left at Blake Street - into Rodney Reserve - followed the clifftop to Lola Road - left into Douglas Pde and out on to Military Road to Hugh Bamford Reserve. Then along Military Road past Bondi Golf Course - left at Hastings Pde - right at Bay Street - left at Brighton Blvd to Ray O'Keefe Reserve and Ben Buckler. Along Ramsgate Ave to North Bondi Beach - along the beach to the bus stop on Campbell Pde.
